A perennial favorite, Braum’s Ice Cream & Dairy Stores is once again named “Best Ice Cream” and “Best Made in Oklahoma Products” by The Oklahoman readers.
Oklahomans trust the tradition of quality that Braum’s upholds throughout our operation. That tradition starts at the Braum Family Farm in Tuttle, where we raise and milk our very own dairy herd of cows several times a day.
We are the only major ice cream maker in the country to milk our own cows. This milk is used to make our ice cream, bottled milk and other dairy products. And because our milk comes from our private dairy herd, we can keep close track of what goes into it and what doesn’t. No growth hormones are used to stimulate milk production and we never add antibiotics to the cow’s feed. The dairy herd enjoys a 100 percent vegetarian diet including alfalfa hay, cottonseed and corn, with the majority of the feed grown right on the farm.
Braum’s milk is delivered to the stores and available to customers within 24 to 36 hours of the cow being milked. We strive to continually offer fresh, quality products. That’s why all stores are located within a 300-mile radius of Tuttle to ensure freshness.
Each Braum’s store has an old-fashioned soda fountain where ice cream creations are served, a grill where customers can order breakfast, lunch and dinner, and a Fresh Market area featuring a full line of milk and dairy products, ice cream and bakery products, fresh meats, fruits, vegetables, and more.
